About me
My greatest accomplishments in life are my four beautiful children. There is nothing I appreciate more than traveling, learning, exploring, and discovering this world together with them.
Our home is in Texas, where we can often be found playing outside, smoking something on the BBQ, and spending time together over a meal. Over the past 24 years, I have devoted countless hours to coaching over 50 youth sports teams for my children, which is how I developed a strong passion for mentoring entrepreneurs.
I currently co-manage Mays Family Enterprises, while also running a private investment firm, Running M Capital, which focuses on supporting innovative entrepreneurs who are developing groundbreaking ideas and introducing new technologies. My personal investment strategy developed over time and is a reflection of my interest in coaching and developing talent. While my investments are diverse in nature, the drive and vision of the people behind these ideas is what actually draws me to each individual deal. This fascination with leaders, innovation, and intelligence also informs my personal philanthropic strategy, which focuses on cutting edge research and development into neuroplasticity, brain health optimization, and human consciousness.
My professional experience developed over almost 20 years at Clear Channel Communications (now iHeartMedia) where I held many different positions, including Vice Chairman, President, and CFO. Throughout this timeframe, I led the strategic consolidation of the live entertainment industry, which ultimately lead to the creation of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s leading live entertainment company comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts and Artist Nation Management.
